Overview

You can integrate the CommsEase SMS service following the 6 steps below. The verification code SMS signature is optional, and the operational message signature and notification message signature are required.

Registration and authentication > Create project > Activate the SMS service and purchase required plans > Request SMS signatures > Create message templates > Call APIs for SMS delivery

Procedure

1. Register a CommsEase account

To integrate the CommsEase SMS service, you must register a CommsEase account on the CommsEase official website

2. Create a project

The CommsEase SMS service is associated with the project created in the CommsEase console. You must create an application first and activate the SMS service in the application.

To activate the SMS service, make sure that the number of SMS messages in your account is greater than 0.

3. Activate the SMS service and purchase required plans

3.1. You can activate the SMS service by clicking Activate Now in the Unactivated Services section in Product Management and purchase a required SMS plan

3.2. You can select the SMS type and specific plans on the SMS Plan page, and submit the order to purchase the required plan. CommsEase SMS plans cannot be refunded after purchase. We recommend you purchase plans on demand.

4. Request SMS signatures

4.1. Go to th SMS Templates page by selecting SMS Template Management in SMS of Product Management.

4.2. On the SMS Templates page, create a template of a required message type. The verification code template signature is optional, and operational and notification templates must be configured with SMS signatures. Otherwise, messages cannot be sent.

5. Create a SMS template

CommsEase SMS provides verification code templates, including voice verification code and international messages, notification message templates and operational message templates.

a. Voice messages only supports voice verification code messages. Therefore, the voice message template is configured in the verification code template. Currently, CommsEase will help customers to configure templates. You cannot configure message templates.

b. You do not need to configure a separate template for international messages. After purchasing plans for international messages, the recipient phone number is out of China and can receive the content of an international message.

6. Call APIs to publish SMS messages

After SMS templates are created and approved, you can call SMS APIs to publish SMS messages after the debugging is successful.
